MULTI POINT LEVEL SWITCH ARRAY

The BMA-30 Switch array is mounted to a PM-26 Liquid Level Gauge and is suitable for any application requiring closely spaced switch points. This combination  is especially applicable to high temperature, high pressure boiler and steam drum applications.

Features & Benefits

The Rod Mounting allows the entire switch array to be easily positioned on the PM-26 Liquid Level Gauge. To simplify wiring, all internal switch leads are routed to a multiple screw terminal in a single field wiring housing.

BMA-30 is supplied with a with an insulated PM-26 Gauge. The assembly will be used in a boiler application to replace a "spark plug" type of device. The latching switch contacts will be used to directly control the existing pilot lamp annunciator panel used to indicate the boiler drum level. The lamps are arranged in a vertical column, thus representing the  liquid level in a "bargraph" fashion.

FS-31 - FLOW SWITCH
  • The FS-31 is a Flow rate control device where the operation of the vane can be used to sound alarms or to activate various types of control equipment.

LS-85 / LS-86 - LIQUID LEVEL SWITCH
  • The LS-85 ( multiple float),   and LS-86 (single float)   switches are designed to be inserted into a nozzle that is located at the top of a process vessel.  

LM-90 - LIQUID LEVEL SWITCH
  • The LM-90 Switch is designed to be flange mounted or may be fitted with a threaded mounting to be inserted into a top tank located nozzle. It may also be mounted into a bridle chamber external to the process vessel, or into an existing stilling well that is installed in the process vessel.

DLS - DISPLACER LEVEL SWITCH
  • EASILY INSTALLED - No physically long asseblies to install in tank.

LIQUID LEVEL TRANSMITTERS

MST-C27, MST-I27, & MST-S27 - MAGNETOSTRICTIVE SERIES

MST-C27 - This transmitter  is integrally mounted with a PROMAG PM-26 Liquid Level Gauge. The PM-26, used to measure liquid levels contains a float that monitor's the vessel's liquid level. This float has a magnet internally mounted that sets up a magnetic field around it's perimeter. It is this magnetic field that the MST-C27 senses, and in turn transmits a 4 to 20 mA signal relative to the float's position in the chamber.

MST-I27 - This configuration uses the same principle as the C27, but the float has a hole through it's center, and is installed around the sensing tube. The MST-I27 is inserted into the vessel instead of being mounted to a PM-26 chamber external to the vessel.

​MST-S27 - The MST -S27 incorporates part of the two designs above. The float is contained in a stilling well  that is lateral to the sensing tube. The entire device is inserted into the process vessel as in the MST-I27

CLT - MAGNETIC SWITCH SERIES

The CLT Sensing Element, when excited by a constant voltage, works as a voltage divider and provides a voltage output that is proportional to the Liquid Level being measured. This voltage is then measured by the PM-1000 transmitter located in the attached transmitter housing. The sensed voltage is then converted into a standard 4-20 mA current output. The PM-1000 Transmitter is a 2 wire Loop Powered Transmitter and is normally mounted at one end of the Sensing Element. Should it be necessary to remote mount the transmitter, 3 wires are required between the PM-1000 Transmitter and the Primary Sensing Element.

ACCUDEN - CDT-30 Continuous Density Transmitter
  • The CDT-30 Accuden system closely resembles the CMT-30 Mass System described above. The major difference is that the CDT-30 displacer must be completely covered and that the instrument measures Liquid Density (Specific Gravity)   instead of Mass.

  • Displacers are generally constructed in shorter lengths, and installed in tanks or bridle chambers that remain full.  The vessel on which the CDT-30 system is installed  usually  has a low flow entering from the bottom of the vessel, and overflowing into an outlet line near the top of the vessel. Utilized in this way, the CDT-30 can continuously sample Liquid Density.

  • CDT-30 Systems have been applied in applications ranging from Tomatoe Paste density to measuring Hydrochloric Acid concentrations in a range as low as .05 Specific Gravity.
