S&S Type B - Globe Style Sliding-Stem Valve

The S&S Series B is a single port globe-style body with composition or metal seats and a balanced "push-down-to-close” valve plug. There are three styles of valves available: Design "S&S BD” is intended for general control application over a wide variety of temperature and pressure drops. Design "S&S BT” is intended for applications requiring low leakage rates with composition seating (TFE) for tight shutoff requirements or metal-to-metal seating for higher temperature capabilities. The valve plug has a two-piece upper seal. Design "S&S BZ" valves are globe-style with integral end connections, post guiding, and quick-change trim. These valves are used in chemical or hydrocarbon processing applications or in applications that require control of non-lubricating, viscous, or other hard-to-handle fluids. *Flow Characteristics are Equal percentage, quick opening, The flow direction for standard cages ("S&S BD & S&S BT") is flow down, and the flow direction for the S&S BZ is up through the seat ring with the following flow characteristics available: linear, quick opening, and equal percent. The end connections are ANSI Class 150, 300 and 600 Raised Face or Ring Type joint flanges as per ASME B16.34-1996. Valve bodies are available in LCC, WCB and 316sst material.

S&S Type D - Globe Style Sliding-Stem Valve

The S&S Series D and Series DA are single port, screwed-in, metal-seated globe style valve with unbalanced post-guided plug and push-down to close plug action used for high-pressure applications. These valves are used in oil and gas production, distribution systems and power plants. These valves are especially useful for throttling or on/off control of liquids or gasses. The flow characteristic of the Series D this equal percent, and the flow direction is up through the seat ring and past the valve plug. Flow directions of the Series DA is flow in either direction. This valve is available with cast integral flanges, welded flanges or screwed connections. Series DA Angle Valve is available with welded flanges or screwed connections. The valve plug and seat ring can be fitted tungsten carbide inserts or satellite overlay. Valve bodies are available in LCC, WCB and 316sst material.

S&S Type H Control Valve

The HPX Control Valve is a rugged single port high-pressure globe valve, with metal seats, quick-change trim and push down to close plug action. The HPX2 uses a balanced valve plug, and piston rings are used to provide the seal between the valve plug and cage. The HPX5 uses a balanced valve plug, and a pressure-assisted spring seal to provide the seal between the valve plug and cage. For standard cages, the flow direction is flow down with the following flow characteristics: equal percentage, modified equal percent, and linear. The end connections are Class 900 and 1500 raised face and ring type joint flanges as per ANSI B16.34 196. Valve bodies are available in LCC, WCB and 316sst material.

S&S 100V - VBall Wafer Style Rotary Valve

The S&S 100V Ball valve design utilizes a standard ball with a triangular shaped wedge formed in it. This design allows for both throttling control and on/off service used in conjunction with a variety of actuators. The S&S 100V valve design closes against one of several available ball seals with a shearing action. The S&S 100V is a flangeless design and allows the valve body to fit between two exiting flanges. The flow characteristic is modified equal percent, with normal (forward) flow into the convex side of the Ball. Bi-directional flow is into either side of the V-Ball. TCM ball seal, metal ball seal and flow-ring construction can be used in Bi-directional flow. Typical actuators used are the pneumatic spring and diaphragm rotary actuator (S&S1051) and the pneumatic piston rotary actuator (S&S1061). Mounting of these actuators can be on the right-hand or left-hand side viewed from the forward flow inlet.

S&S 857 - Pneumatic Diaphragm Sliding - Stem Actuator

The series S&S 857 is a direct acting, spring opposed diaphragm actuator with a 4-inch maximum travel. Signal pressure supplied to the upper housing chamber forces the stem downward. When the signal pressure is reduced, the compressive force on the spring moves the stem upward. If the signal pressure should fail, the spring will force the stem in the upward direction providing “ fail - open action” for “push-down to open” valves.

S&S 867 - Pneumatic Diaphragm Sliding - Stem Actuator

The series S&S 867 is a reverse acting, spring opposed, diaphragm actuator with a 4-inch maximum travel. When the signal pressure increases to the lower diaphragm casing, the actuator stem is forced upward, compressing the spring. When the signal pressure is reduced, the spring moves the actuator stem in the downward direction. If the signal pressure should fail, the spring will force the stem in the downward position providing “fail-closed action” for “push down to close” valves.

S&S 1051 - Pneumatic Diaphragm Rotary Actuator

The series S&S 1051 is used for on-off service without a positioner or for throttling service with a positioner. The stroking time is dependent on the actuator size, rotation, spring rate/compression, supply pressure, and size of supply line.

S&S 2300 - Digital Smart Positioner

2300 Smart Valve Positioner accurately controls valve stroke, according to input signal of 4-20mA, which is being input from the controller. In addition, built-in micro-processing operator optimizes the positioner's performance and provides unique functions such as Auto calibration, PID control, Alarm, and Hart protocol.

Design ED, EAD, and EDR single-port control valves have balanced valve plugs, cage guiding, and metal-to-metal seating for all general applications over a wide range of process pressure drops and temperatures.

Fisher ET, EAT, ETR - Globe Style Sliding-Stem Valve

Design ET, EAT, and ETR general-purpose control valves are used for throttling or on-off control of a wide variety of liquids and gases. All three valve designs have single ports, balanced valve plugs, and cage guiding. Metal-to-PTFE seating for stringent shutoff requirements is standard in all valves except those with Cavitrol III cages. Metal-to-metal seating for higher temperatures is standard for valves with Cavitrol III cages and optional for all other valves.

Fisher EZ - Globe Style Sliding-Stem Valve

Design easy-e™ EZ valves are used for throttling or on-off control of a wide variety of liquids and gases. The single-port, globe-style body design offers quick-change trim and a post-guided, unbalanced valve plug. The EZ valve is used in chemical or hydrocarbon processing applications or wherever control of non-lubricating, viscous, or other hard-to-handle fluids is required. Metal-to-metal seating is standard for all general applications over a wide range of pressure drops and temperatures. Metal-to-PTFE seating is optional for stringent shutoff requirements.

Design ES and EAS general-purpose control valves are used for throttling or on-off control of a wide variety of liquids and gases. Both valve designs have single ports, unbalanced valve plugs, and cage guiding.

Fisher EH, EHA - Globe Style Sliding-Stem Valve

Design EH and EHA valves are specially designed for high-pressure applications. Design EH valve configurations incorporate proven techniques in flow-stream contouring for higher capacities and in valve trim design for reliability in severe applications.

Fisher D,DA - Globe Style Sliding-Stem Valve

Design D and DA single-port, high-pressure valves are widely used in oil and gas production industries. These valves are especially useful for either throttling or on/off control of liquids or gases which are gritty, sticky, or which have a tendency to build up on internal valve parts. The Design DA valve is also useful in angle piping or other applications where a self-draining valve is desired.

Fisher V250 - VBall Flangeless Style Rotary Valve

Fisher V250 is a flangeless, reduced bore ball valve in NPS 4 through NPS 24 and compatible with CL600 or CL900 for heavy duty (high temp or tight shutoff) throttling or on/off applications. 

Fisher V260 - VBall Flanged Style Rotary Valve

Fisher V260 is a flanged full ball valve in NPS 8 through 16 and compatible with CL300 or 600 for high capacity process applications. The V260 can be ordered with Aerodome or Hydrodome attenuators for noise reduction.

Fisher V500 - VBall Flanged Style Rotary Valve

The Design V500 eplug rotary control valve controls erosive, coking, and other hard-to-handle fluids, providing either throttling or on-off operation.

Fisher 8510 - Butterfly Wafer Style Rotary Valve

The Type 8510 butterfly valve provides outstanding performance under extreme pressure and temperature conditions. The Type 8510 valve maintains tight shutoff, is available in a fire-tested version, and can be specified for cryogenic applications.

Fisher 8532 - Butterfly Wafer Style Rotary Valve

The Type 8532 high-performance butterfly valve provides outstanding performance under extreme pressure and temperature conditions. The Type 8532 valve maintains tight shutoff, is available in a fire-tested version, and can be specified for cryogenic applications.

Fisher 8560 - Butterfly Wafer Style Rotary Valve

The Type 8560 high-performance butterfly valve provides outstanding performance under extreme pressure and temperature conditions. The Type 8560 valve maintains tight shutoff, is available in a fire-tested version, and can be specified for cryogenic applications.

Fisher 657 - Pneumatic Diaphragm Sliding - Stem Actuator

The Type 657 and 667 spring-opposed diaphragm actuators position the valve plug in the valve in response to varying controller or valve positioner pneumatic output signals applied to the actuator diaphragm. Zero setting of the actuator is determined by the compression of the actuator spring. Span is set by both the actuator spring rate and the number of springs available. The Type 657 actuator is direct-acting; the Type 667 is reverse-acting. These actuators are designed to provide dependable on-off or throttling operation of automatic control valves.

Fisher 585 - Pneumatic Piston Linear Actuator

The Fisher 585C linear piston actuator is a powerful, double-acting actuator that provides accurate throttling or on-off operation for sliding-stem control valves.

Fisher 1051 & 1052 - Pneumatic Diaphragm Rotary Actuator

The Type 1051 and 1052 spring-return diaphragm rotary actuators operate splined shaft rotary valves, such as the edisc (Type 8510B and 8560), Types 8532 and 9500, eplug(Design BV500, CV500 and V500) and VBall (DesignV150, V200 and V300) valves. Types 1051 and 1052 actuators are both suitable for on-off service or for throttling service. The primary difference between these actuators is that the Type 1052 actuator has a spring adjuster which means it may be used with or without a positioner, depending on service requirements. The Type 1051 actuator, in throttling service, is normally equipped with a valve positioner. Refer to separate bulletins for valve and positioner information.

Fisher 1061 - Pneumatic Piston Rotary Actuator

The Fisher 1061 pneumatic piston rotary actuator is used to operate splined-shaft rotary control valves such as the VBall valves, eccentric disc valves, and butterfly valves.
