Magnus Force - Pneumatic Rack & Pinion Actuators

Uses the latest technology, combining intelligent design features with a compact footprint. MAGNUS FORCE is the perfect fit for practically any automation control system. PDC Series rack and pinion actuators are offered in two styles, PDC Series Double Acting and PDC Series Spring Return.

  • Indicator: Multi-function position indicator with NAMUR mounting, convenient for mounting accessories such as positioners and limit switches.

  • Pinion: The pinion is made from nickel plated steel and conforms to ISO5211, DIN3337, and NAMUR standards. Also available in stainless steel.

  • Actuator Body: According to different requirements, the extruded aluminum alloy ASTM 6005 body can be coated with hard anodized, polyester, PTFE, or nickel.

  • End Caps: The end caps are made of die-cast aluminum and can be coated with polyester, metal powder, PTFE or nickel.

  • Piston: The twin pistons are made of hard anodized coated die-cast aluminum or zinc coated steel. Reverse rotation is achieved by reversing air input for fast operation and long-life span.

  • Stroke Adjustment: Two independent external travel bolts can accurately adjust ±5° at both open and closed position.

CHECK VALVES

ElastoTITE™ Full Port Elastomer-Hinged Check Valves have low pressure loss, lightweight design and a compact construction. Patented Flexible Anti-Fatigue Reinforcement Layer design increases the life of the valve and reduces the need for replacement of the elastomer sealing member during routine maintenance. The elastomer hinge check valve design eliminates a restrictive valve seat and increases the valve’s open area and flow coefficient significantly.
ElastoTITE™ Check Valves - Male Thread End Series 801

The ElastoTITE™ Thread End Check Valve is perfect for compressed air and gas systems, water systems and vacuum pumps. Choice of body materials of Carbon Steel or 316 Stainless Steel. The available internals materials are Aluminum and 316 Stainless Steel. Buna-N is the standard seal with available optional seal materials of EPDM, Silicone or Viton.

  • Materials can be configured to a Maximum Working Pressure of 150 PSI. Operating temperatures range from –40° F to 500° F with available sizes 1” thru 12” NPT

  • Patented Anti-Fatigue Reinforcement Layer – Our ElastoTITE™ Check Valve’s New Patented Anti-Fatigue Reinforcement Layer is substantially unstretchable and capable of resisting abrasion forces that are encountered while the valve is in operation, increasing the life of the valve significantly.

  • Smooth Valve Bore – The smooth machined bore allows the compliant valve seal to maintain a consistent check against backflow.

  • NPT (American National Standard Tapered Pipe Thread) Body – PDC’s Male Thread End Series 801 conforms to ASME/ANSI B1.20.1 American National Standard Tapered Pipe Threads on both ends of the valve.

  • NO Metal-to-Metal Rotating Parts – The motionless Hinge Bar and Seal Clamp design decreases wear of Hinges, Shafts, Valve Plates, and Springs slashing maintenance requirements and costs.

  • Full Port Seatless Design – Provides the largest flow area possible with the smallest pressure loss.

  • Fast Closure Feature – The closing time is reduced by the valve plate’s minimum travel from an open to a fully closed position.

  • Springless Design – Our valves operate without the assistance of a spring in the majority of all applications. With the assistance of a spring, the “slamming” action of the plates is all but eliminated. A spring is recommended when the valve is placed in a vertical downward flow pipeline position

  • Reinforced Valve Seal – Tolerant to liquids, gases, steam, chemical, oil, and fuel. The strength and durability of these elastomers ensure the prolonged life of the valves. The seals provide a tight shutoff.

  • Valves can be installed in a pipeline in any position.

  • Competitive Pricing – Competitive pricing, excellent customer service and quick turnaround to meet your needs.

Elastomer Lined Series 27 - 2" thru 36" for 125/150 lb. Flanging

"Elastomer Lined" series butterfly valves are available in both full lug and wafer styles. Designed for rugged service in industrial, utility and HVAC systems.

  • BODY: One piece cast bodies are available in a wide choice of materials in both wafer and tapped lug design. Standard long neck body provides full clearance for 2 inches of insulation on ANSI 150 pipe flanges.

  • DISC: Streamlined for maximum flow and minimum seat wear. Less maintenance and ease of assembly, due to elimination of bolts, pins, etc., as stem connectors.

  • STEMS: Heavy duty, two piece design for easy maintenance. Pins retain stem in body at all times, allowing removal of handle or actuator while under full line pressure.

  • STEM/DISC ATTACHMENT: Rectangular drive ensures proper stem-to-disc assembly. No pins or bolts are exposed to flow.

  • DEAD-END SERVICE: A lip, integral to the body, prevents the liner from moving downstream eliminating seat and flange leakage. This feature allows lug valve to be used in dead end service applications at full rated pressure without the use of downstream flange.

  • PRESSURE RATING:
    (2"-12") 250 PSIG WOG (non-shock)
    (14"-36") 150 PSIG WOG (non-shock) TEF
(2"-12") 250 PSIG WOG (non-shock) Dead End Service
